Welcome back to another edition of The Buzz! I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving and are now ready to gear up for the rest of the Holiday Season.
This week, we got our first glimpse into the new Indiana Jones movie that’s coming out on June 30th of next year.
This is Harrison Ford’s final time stepping into Indiana Jones’ shoes, so this is a big deal and the trailer sets up the movie to be a huge success.
If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, check it out below.
If you’re looking for a new series to watch, check out the new Netflix sensation Wednesday.
Wednesday is a modern-day vision of The Addams Family and follows Morticia and Gomez’ teenage daughter Wednesday. She’s a student at the Nevermore Academy and learning how to master her psychic abilities and trying to solve a murder mystery linked to her family’s past.
If you haven’t seen the show yet, I’m sure you’ve heard of it because it’s absolutely crushing the charts. If we thought Stranger Things was doing well earlier this year on Netflix, Wednesday may actually be doing even better! And if it’s not yet, it’s heading in that direction.
The series debuted at number 1 on Netflix and had a staggering 341.23 million hours viewed in one week, leading the series to hold the record for the most hours viewed in a week on Netflix for an English-language TV series. (Braaavo, Wednesday.)
Here’s the trailer for the show if you’d like a teaser.
Also for new series, we’ve talked briefly about this on The Buzz, but if you’re a fan of That 70s Show, I have an update on its spin off That 90s Show.
It’s going to be premiering on Netflix on January 19th and the teaser they’ve released brings back all of the That 70s Show nostalgia, right down Red’s pessimism, Kitty’s optimism, and memories in the Forman’s basement.
This has been such a long awaited series, so get your excitement up and check out the official teaser for the series below.
And lastly, if you’re looking to get in the Christmas spirit, don’t miss the new Philadelphia Eagles’ Christmas album.
Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, and Jordan Mailata, the Eagles’ offensive linemen, are teaming up with Charlie Hall to create A Philly Special Christmas album.
The album will be released on December 23rd and proceeds from the album are going to be donated to the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) in Philadelphia for a toy drive.
Until the album’s release later this month, they are going to be releasing a single off the album every Friday.
Last week, the song was Christmas (Baby Please Come Home). Today, they dropped Blue Christmas.
Check out this article for more info on the album!
See you back here next week for another edition of The Buzz!
