On Wednesday, the beloved Queen of Rock n’ Roll passed away at 83 years old. These last two days have been filled with heartfelt tributes, including Scott’s all Tina Turner Back in the Day Easy Café yesterday.
I’m going to show my age a little bit here, but I’ll be upfront in saying that I didn’t know very much about Tina Turner, but some of my personal favorite tributes are below:
We also said goodbye to The Flash television series on the CW this week. After 9 long seasons, the DC series has drawn to a close. It was a very heartfelt episode, right down to Barry’s voiceover that paralleled the one in the pilot.
Grant Gustin, who played Barry Allen/The Flash, spoke about potential alternate endings as did the current and previous showrunners.

The end of this series is drawing up even more excitement for the upcoming Flash movie starring Ezra Miller. This film has been in the headlines for what feels like years now and it’s finally hitting theaters on June 16th.

Speaking of movies that have been in the headlines, the new live action Little Mermaid film is finally in theaters today!
