And Just Like That…. Sex and the City fans got some exciting news this week!
Kim Cattrall, who played the iconic Samantha Jones in the original Sex and the City series and its two accompanying movies, was not part of the SATC revival And Just Like That which started in 2021.
It was shocking for fans to see the series without Samantha’s presence, but given the public drama between Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, who played Carrie Bradshaw, it wasn’t too much of a surprise she wasn’t coming back.
As the premiere of the second season gets closer, news of who will be appearing on the series keeps dropping, and FINALLY! Kim Cattrall’s name is on the list.
It was a secret even for those who were on set that she would be back – some people on set didn’t even know she was there until after she was gone – and it seems that she interacted with very few people on the production.
Rumor has it, Samantha will be present for a phone call with Carrie, but the actress didn’t have any interaction with Parker and was only needed on set for a day.
At the moment, she’s not slated to appear in any further scenes, but you never know what might happen!
The first two episodes of And Just Like That are set to premiere on Max (previously HBO Max) on June 22nd. After that, episodes will drop every Thursday.
Next up, Ben and Jen were back in the headlines this week showing off their new Beverly Hills home.
The home – some might even call it a palace – was paid for in cash for approximately 60 million and has 24 bathrooms, 12 bedrooms, and 15 fireplaces. In addition, there is also a wraparound pool, sports complex, salon, facility for massages with a sauna, indoor pickleball court, sports lounge, boxing ring, a 2 bedroom guardhouse, theater, whiskey lounge, and wine room.
Here’s one of the photos that has been released so far.

There was also a public announcement made this week about Bruce Willis’ health. Back in 2022, he retired after a diagnosis of aphasia, and just this week, his family shared that he has now been given a diagnosis of prefrontal dementia.
If you don’t know what that is, prefrontal dementia affects your frontal and temporal lobes making it difficult to understand written and spoken language.
Lastly, the new Spiderman movie called Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is out TODAY and it has also been confirmed that there is a new live-action film in the works that is set to star both Tom Holland and Zendaya! Work won’t begin on that project until the WGA Writers Strike is over, but it’s exciting news nonetheless.
See you back here next week!
