This weekend, take part in the 113th annual Fisherman’s Feast in Boston’s North End!
The feast is taking place all weekend from Thursday, August 17th through Sunday, August 20th and there will be food, vendors, entertainment, and more!
The event began in 1910 and is based off of the devotion of the fisherman from Sciacca to the Madonna del Soccorso. Because the Feast is organized by descendants of the original immigrants who began celebrating the Feast, many of the traditions are the same and it is the oldest continuously running Italian festival.
You can look forward to parades and processions, entertainment like dancing and Carnivale floats and dances, classic Italian games, live music, cooking demonstrations, contests, and mass. There will be something to entertain all members of the family!
