This month, the Duxbury Food and Wine Festival is hosting two special events including a Wine Stroll and Oktoberfest.
The Wine Stroll is this Saturday, September 16th from 3pm to 6pm at the Nathaniel Winsor, Jr. House. You will be able to try a variety of curated wines from around the world paired with numerous local foods. You can also explore the grounds to discover local history and artwork.
Tickets for the festival are $60 for one or $95 per pair. You can purchase tickets here.
They are also hosting Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 23rd at the 1699 Historic Winslow House in Marshfield. The event begins at 4pm with appetizers and tasting until 5pm, dinner from 6pm – 7pm, and music, dancing, and revelry until 8pm.
The goal of the event is to highlight local brewers, enjoy a hearty Bavarian meal, heft steins, and a true “fest” atmosphere.
