If you were a fan of Supernatural, you’ll be excited to hear that a sixteenth season could be coming!
The show is not in development yet, but the stars have indicated that they want to do the series, but they don’t want to do it ‘just to do it’ – it has to be done right and it has to be done at the right time. The stars of the series – Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki in particular – hold the show so close to their hearts that they aren’t going to let the series come back just to do it.
What might happen sooner though is a reunion between Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan who played son and father on Supernatural. Morgan has long been part of The Walking Dead franchise and he and Ackles have both expressed interest in coming together for the spin off Walking Dead: Dead City.
They’ve had lengthy discussions about this and at the end of the day, it comes down to Ackles’ availability whether or not he will be able to appear on the series. The series is set to film its second season in Boston, and early last month, they were looking for extras, so there’s a possibility you could be in the show too!
If you’re a Madonna fan, this should come as no surprise to you that one of her shows back in December started far after its scheduled start time. Two fans were very upset about this and filed a lawsuit against her, claiming that because the show ended at 1am, it could have inconvenienced or injured concert goers because of the limited transportation options at that hour and having to stay up later than anticipated.
Madonna though is asking the judge to toss the case, with her lawyers claiming that:
- Concerts rarely begin on time, especially hers
- The fans should not have been surprised it would start late since they have been to Madonna shows before
- There is not proof that anyone was injured because of the late start time
- Fans still got what they paid for, which is a full length, high quality show by the Queen of Pop
- Madonna has said: “A Queen is Never Late”
We will have to wait to see what happens!
As for Jennifer Lopez, she is quietly rebranding her upcoming tour, changing it from the “This is Me… Now” tour to “This is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits” tour, likely due to low ticket sales. She has quietly canceled some tour dates, but the Boston show on August 7th is still a go if you’re interested!
Lastly, if you’re an Air Supply fan, you’re about to get even more from the band!
There is an Air Supply biopic on the way in celebration of the band’s 50th anniversary! The film will be called “All Out of Love: The Air Supply Story” and is set to film later this year in Australia and the UK. The film will look at the highs and lows of the band’s career and their rise to international fame.
In the meantime, if you’re looking for your Air Supply fix now, they’re currently on a HUGE tour and they’ll be stopping at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium on May 10th! You can purchase tickets here!
See you back here next week!
