It’s one of my favorite times of year again: Fall TV Premiere week.
So many amazing shows picked back up or premiered this week including Dancing with the Stars, High Potential, and more.
The one I’m most excited for, as I’m sure you all can guess, is Doctor Odyssey which premieres this coming Thursday, September 26th at 9pm on ABC!
The show stars Joshua Jackson alongside Sean Teale and Phillipa Soo and will follow Max (Jackson) as he boards a luxury cruise ship as the new on-board doctor.
Check out the trailer below – you’ll see some other familiar faces including Chord Overstreet, Shania Twain, John Stamos, Kelsea Ballerini and more!
When doing press for Doctor Odyssey, Joshua Jackson spoke of where he thought his beloved character Pacey from Dawson’s Creek is now and whether or not he’s still with Katie Holmes’ Joey Potter.
He said he thought that the iconic pair are still together and that Pacey’s helping her raise her kids, even if she’s out chasing her dreams. And if you know anything about Joey Potter, it’s that she’s likely not stopped chasing her dreams, no matter where she’s at in her life and relationships.
Speaking of Dawson’s Creek and Miss Joey Potter, Katie Holmes was also in the headlines this week. This past Tuesday, Holmes opened up the latest revival of Our Town on Broadway alongside Jim Parsons and Zoey Deutch.
The revival is a strictly limited engagement and will only be on Broadway until January 19th, so if you want tickets, get them now!
The show began previews on Tuesday, and Holmes was visited by her lovely Dawson’s Creek costar Nina Repeta and celebrated a mini Dawson’s Creek reunion. Check out the photo below.
Speaking of nostalgia, New Kids on the Block proved this year that they’re here and ready to celebrate! They released a new album, went on an epic summer tour, and now they’re going to VEGAS!
For the first time ever, NKOTB has signed on for their very first Las Vegas residency in 2025. They will be at the Park MGM’s Dolby Live Theater from June 20th – July 5th and November 1st – November 15th. Presales begin on September 24th for their residency and tickets officially go on sale on September 27th.
Boyz II Men are also headed out on the road and they’re stopping in Boston on January 17th at the MGM Music Hall and tickets are on sale NOW!
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, check out the Boston Harry Potter Exhibition at CambridgeSide. You’ll be able to explore the behind the scenes of the movies, including props and costumes. It’s a completely personalized interactive experience that will show you the behind the scenes of filming.

If you’re a fan of book adaptations, The Thursday Murder Club is being adapted into a Netflix feature. Production has wrapped, but I have not been able to find a release date yet.
The story is about a group of friends who live together in a retirement home and spend their time solving murders for fun, until one day, they find themselves caught in an actual case.
The movie has a fantastic cast including Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Sir Ben Kingsley, Celia Emrie, David Tennant, Tom Ellis, and more!
There is also a new two-season adaptation of 100 Years of Solitude coming to Netflix. The series’ first season is being helmed by Argentinian-born director Alex García López and because of the cultural significance in the book being set in Colombia, López ensured that the series will be shot in Colombia with Colombian actors speaking in Spanish.
If you’re a fan of Friends, check out this article for a fun fact about the show – turns out, Chandler and Joey almost didn’t live across the hall from the girls!
