Jordyn’s Buzz – January 10th, 2025

Helllo listeners! Happy Friday and welcome back to another edition of The Buzz!

I’m going to give you your weekly dose of Hollywood buzz and gossip, but I’ve also been following the news very closely to check on Los Angeles as a whole as they deal with these horrific fires and I definitely want to talk about it.

I’m sure at this point, you’ve seen, but if you haven’t, Los Angeles has been dealing with a multitude of fires which seem near impossible to contain. People have been forced to evacuate, many losing their homes in the process. The loss is completely unimaginable and as someone who is watching from afar, it feels like there’s just nothing we can do to help. If you’re looking to get involved, check out this article from the Washington Post, it details organizations and how they’re helping and will give you an idea of how a donation could help.

As for what’s going on in Hollywood in terms of our favorite celebrities, we are in the height of award season! The Golden Globes took place this past Sunday and the SAG Awards are coming up in February. Check out this article if you’re curious about who’s been nominated and let us know your predictions on who you think will win!
