Good morning, listeners! We weren’t on air for The Buzz this morning, but I’m still here to give you the Hollywood buzz!
The new Philadelphia Eagles Christmas album was released today – this is the team’s second Christmas album. The first, A Philly Special Christmas, was released last year, and today, the team released A Philly Special Christmas Special.
Jason Kelce even enlisted his brother Travis for his help on a duet on the album.
Beyonce’s Renaissance film also hits theaters today. The film is a documentary about the singer’s world tour and examines her intention, hard work, and involvement in production and mastering her craft. Few details have been released about the film but it’s expected to do very well in the box office.
Jennifer Lopez has also announced that she will be releasing a new album titled This Is Me… Now on February 16, 2024 and an accompanying film inspired by the music will be released that same day on Prime.
Lastly for music, Jimmy Fallon and Meghan Trainor have composed a new Christmas song together which they performed on Jimmy Kimmel. Check out the video below!
It looks like the Scream franchise could be in danger: one of the film’s stars was fired from the film, and then, Jenna Ortega, most famous for her role on Wednesday, dropped out as well.
As for television, the Prime sensation The boys has been picked up for a Spanish-language spin off! And there is also a Sex and the City reality dating format in the works!
Lastly, if you were a fan of The O.C., you’ll be excited to hear that there is a new book – Welcome to the O.C.: The Oral History that dishes out all of the behind the scenes drama in the wake of the show’s 20th anniversary. Turns out, there were numerous regrets from cast and crew on the show, so it should be interesting to get to the root of all of it! It was released on Tuesday, and you can grab a copy here.
