If you’re a Bob Marley fan, check out the biopic coming to theaters on February 14th! The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley and the movie will show Marley’s rise to fame up until his premature death in 1981 at only 36 years old.
Jon Bon Jovi also announced that he’s opening a bar in Nashville this spring! It will be the tallest and second largest bar by square footage on Lower Broadway.
News also dropped that in honor of Bon Jovi’s 40th anniversary, there will be a documentary about the band that’s set to premiere on Hulu on April 26th. One article says, ‘the four-part series marks the first-ever docuseries on the band’s history with full cooperation from all past and present members of Bon Jovi. It also promises to give viewers a glimpse at the life of the frontman behind the music.’
Lastly, the SUPER BOWL is this Sunday! The game starts at 6:30pm and you can watch it on CBS, Nickelodeon, and stream it on Paramount+!
Don’t forget, Usher will be headlining the halftime show and other performers include Reba McEntire, Post Malone, and Andra Day who will be performing the National Anthem, America the Beautiful, and Lift Every Voice and Sing.
When speaking with Vogue, Usher said he ‘wants his halftime show performance to be “a celebration for everybody, for all of us, from the beginning up until this point”.’
Something I found interesting this year is that a lot of companies have been releasing their ads ahead of the game. For example, we know Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer have a commercial together, Lionel Messi, Ken Jeong, and many more each have their own commercials. Check out this list of commercials we know so far.
I’m still excited to see all of the ads, but personally, I feel like this takes something special away from the Super Bowl, so I’m curious to hear what you listeners think! Let us know!
