ConfiKids was founded in 2017 with the goal of providing opportunities to partake in enrichment activities to children of limited financial means. The intention is that these children will be able to pursue their interests and passions, gain new skills, build new relationships, and ultimately, build confidence.
This nonprofit operates on the belief that despite one’s economic status, all children should have the opportunity to thrive, particularly within extracurricular activities. As such, ConfiKids works with the adults in children’s lives who apply for children to receive financial support so they may participate in these activities. Children who are in grades 1–8 and on the free lunch program at their school may apply for this funding.
ConfiKids helps to support more than 400 kids each year, helping all of these children have a chance to make their dreams come true.
On April 12th, ConfiKids will be hosting their very own ConfiKids Inspiration Gala at the Renaissance Hotel in Patriot Place where professionals will share what it took to succeed and students will have the opportunity to share their experience with ConfiKids and what they have accomplished with the program.
The gala will also be honoring individuals such as actor Vaughan Reiller, Broadway actor Meredith Aleigha Wells, 5-time Martial Arts World Champion Chris Rappold, and Manny Delcarmen, former Red Sox player, and these individuals will have the chance to share their own stories on their paths to achieving their dreams.
For more information, visit the ConfiKids website. You can also buy a ticket to the gala on their website or make a gift that will last a lifetime.
