The Emmys are coming up quick this year and we learned this week that Eugene and Dan Levy will be co-hosting! They are the first-ever father-son hosting partners of the Emmys and they’re receiving so much positive feedback for hosting.

Huey Lewis has a show in development called Whatever Happened to Huey Lewis, which will be a fictionalized version of his life. It’s set to be a half hour comedy show similar to Curb Your Enthusiasm and will be co-produced by Jimmy Kimmel.
As you know, Huey has been experiencing hearing loss, so this show aims to be a lighthearted take on this phase of his life while also looking at his family and friends.
If you’re looking for new music this weekend, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga released a song together called Die With a Smile. They’re not a pair I would have put together, but boy do they sound good together! Check out the song and its music video below.
Jared Padalecki has been in the news a lot lately following the cancellation of Walker and a potential Supernatural reunion on The Boys, but this week, he’s in the headlines for something completely different.
Jared is headed to Fire Country, with the potential for him to lead the spin-off Sheriff Country alongside Deadpool’s Morena Baccarin. You can find more info on that here.
Other things that happened this week: Miley Cyrus was honored at the Disney Legends Ceremony, a new Squid Game live Experience is headed to New York, Hallmark is coming out with their own streaming network called Hallmark+, and a new teaser for the Wicked the Musical movie dropped this week showcasing Jonathan Bailey.
We also learned this week that Reagan Revord will be making at least one appearance as Missy Cooper on the new Big Bang Theory series called Georgie and Mandy’s First Wedding which premieres this Fall, Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man is headed to Disneyland, Frozen 3 is coming on Thanksgiving in 2027, and Mufasa, a prequel to The Lion King, is expected this year.
If you’re a fan of Dancing with the Stars, you know that following the Olympics, there’s typically some Olympians on the show, especially gymnasts. Nothing’s been announced yet, but rumor has it, it might be Stephen Nedoroscik this year, pommel horse medalist from the men’s gymnastics team.
Stephen’s from Worcester, MA and quickly became a fan favorite in the Games this year, spawning viral memes and earning nicknames like “Pommel Horse Guy” and “Clark Kent”.
Calling ABBA fans! Word on the street is that Mamma Mia 3 is in the works – check out more info here! I can say with certainty that if this is true, I’ll be in theaters opening night to see it!
