Harry Potter’s been on all of our mind’s for years now, and HBO has been talking for a little while about the new faithful-to-the-books series that’s coming and they’re FINALLY starting casting for the series!

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s how much I love the show The Vampire Diaries. This week, the show celebrated its 15th anniversary and the show’s co-creator Julie Plec was interviewed and I thought I knew everything there is to know about this show, but there was so much in this interview that I didn’t know! It’s a great read, especially if you’re hoping for more projects in the Vampire Diaries universe.

He’s going to be hosting a screening of home Alone followed by a Q&A. Tickets are on sale now!
For some more nostalgia, if you’re a fan of the Goonies, you might be in luck: it looks like there’s a sequel in the works! It’s still in early development and is projected for a 2026 or 2027 release, and while they’re still unsure who will come back for the movie, it’s likely major stars will come back, and the possibilities of where they can take the sequel are endless!
Other movies in the works are a Janis Joplin biopic, which shockingly, will be the first Janis Joplin biopic ever made! Shailene Woodley is slated to play Janis.
As for TV, the new Office spin-off has some new cast members joining the project! In addition to Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Imacciatore, they’ve casted Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei and Ramona Young.
The show is rumored to be titled The Paper – per an article from Yahoo Entertainment, “The new series—which is rumored to be titled The Paper—is not an exact reboot or spinoff of the original NBC series. It will follow the original series’ mockumentary format and take place in the same universe. “The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters,” per the series’ official logline.”
New fall TV is starting as soon as next week, and here’s a list of 22 new shows to check out!
