Hurricane Helene Relief Effort

Hurricane Helene Relief Effort

The Town of Canton, FM Generator and Armstrong Transportation are joining efforts this month to collect goods to help provide relief to the residents of Asheville North Carolina and surrounding areas, devastated by Hurricane Helene a few weeks ago. Many residents have lost everything from clothing to their homes. Join FM Generator and Volunteers at 1860 Washington Street, the former St. Gerard’s Church in Canton, Saturday, November 9th between 10a and 3pm to make a donation. Items will be transported to Asheville North Carolina and distributed to area residents in most need. Donations can also be dropped off at the Fire and Police stations in Canton, between November 4th and 8th. Find more information at the Town of Canton’s web site with how you can get involved and what items are in most need.
